Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Imageditly (“Imageditly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit our website, create an account, upload media, generate or edit content, buy or use credits, subscribe to a plan, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account information. Your email address, username, profile image, account status, and authentication information. Passwords are stored in hashed form, not as readable text. If you use Google sign-in, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, and an account identifier from Google.
• Content and generation data. Prompts, negative prompts, uploaded images or videos, selected models and settings, generated outputs, task status, and related creation history (collectively, “User Content”).
• Billing and transaction data. Your plan, billing cycle, credit balance, purchases, usage, refunds, and transaction history. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored in full by Imageditly.
• Device and usage data. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, time zone, user agent, referring pages, feature activity, error logs, and approximate network information.
• Free-trial identifiers. A random first-party device ID and a one-way browser signature used to enforce trial limits and prevent abuse. The server stores pseudonymous hashes rather than the raw identifiers.
• Communications. Messages, attachments, and other details you send when you contact support or provide feedback.

We use information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
• create and secure accounts, authenticate sessions, and provide support;
• process uploads, prompts, generations, edits, downloads, and saved creations;
• administer free trials, credits, subscriptions, billing, and refunds;
• monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and improve performance;
• detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited content;
• send transactional messages such as verification, security, billing, and service notices;
• comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, Imageditly, and others.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Services, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

To complete a generation or editing request, Imageditly may transmit your prompt, uploaded media, settings, and other necessary request data to the third-party model or infrastructure provider selected for that task. Providers may process this information from other countries and under their own privacy and retention terms.

Imageditly does not itself train foundation models using your User Content. We may inspect limited content when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, respond to support requests, maintain service quality, or comply with law.

We may share information with:

• AI and infrastructure providers that perform generation, editing, moderation, hosting, storage, networking, and delivery functions;
• account, email, and payment providers that support sign-in, transactional messages, checkout, billing, fraud prevention, and tax or accounting requirements;
• professional advisers and authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security;
• a successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

• Account, subscription, and credit records may remain while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
• Prompts, task records, uploads, and outputs may remain in creation history or storage until deleted, the account is closed, or they are no longer needed.
• Trial-abuse identifiers, logs, backups, and records required for security, fraud prevention, tax, or legal compliance may be retained longer.

Deleting a creation from the interface may remove it from your visible history before all cached or backup copies expire. To request deletion of your account or associated data, contact us at support@imageditly.com.

The Services use first-party browser storage and may use cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, preferences, free-trial enforcement, and core functionality. For example, authentication tokens and a random trial device identifier may be stored in your browser.

Clearing browser data may sign you out or reset local preferences. It does not necessarily reset server-side trial limits, transaction records, or other data we must retain. Browser controls can limit certain storage, but parts of the Services may then stop working correctly.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include access controls, password hashing, token-based authentication, and restricted administrative access where appropriate.

No online service or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Imageditly and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms for international data transfers.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of certain personal information; object to or opt out of certain processing; or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.

You can update certain profile details in your account. For other requests, email support@imageditly.com from the address connected to your account. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, although deleting data may make some Services unavailable.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age to consent to online services, that higher age applies. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide an additional notice through the Services or by email where appropriate.
